Thank goodness... and the days that follow...

Hello today I'm going to blog about my trip to Nanny & Grandaddy's. First I woke up and played games on the computer till MotherDear got up. We got our stuff together then we went on a road trip. It took five hours! Finally we got to Nanny & Grandaddy's where we ate cheese-less pizza. After dinner, we talked then we went to bed.

The next day me and Grandaddy did some wood carving (The difference between wood carving and whittling is.......well its hard to explain the difference, but for example, carving is like creating figures in wood.  On the other hand, whittling is taking the bark off of a stick and shaping it into a wand.) Granddaddy and I carved a wood sprite into a branch for my friend Austin at occupy. Then we went in to have thanksgiving dinner which included dessert. After that, we went to bed.

The next day Grandaddy and I played guitar and mandolin. (He played guitar; I played the mandolin.) Then nanny braided my hair, and after lots of stuff we went to bed. That night I felt really bad; I had a stomach ache and a headache, so I laid awake till nanny got up which luckily was at 6am. After lots of pain, we went home and I painfully went to bed.

Spero che la vostra festa sia stata piacevole. Arrivederci!

a very looooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooong post

Today I'm going to blog about what I've been doing so far in my day and lots of other things. What have I been doing.  Let's see...

Well, one day, a friend of mine from Occupy came over for a visit. It was a crazy day that day, and we had a good time.  That day my friend and I bounced on the trampoline, ate lots of yummy tasty foods, and generally had a good time.

Another day, I finished the trebuchet I've been working on with my fellow Screaming Pickles that fly. The Screaming Pickles that fly are me - Dr. Noodle Soup, Madison the Inscrutable, and Will. We really did launch a pickle.

Some other day, other friends from Occupy came over - Shaun and Joe.  They came to sleep over this time. It was very fun, but I couldn't go to Occupy because I have the CHICKEN POX!

And it really stinks that I have the chicken pox. I can't go very many places, and I'm very itchy sometimes. Often I have a headache and occasionally I start to cough and sneeze. HAAACHOOO! SNiff Sniff...

And today a good friend from witchcamp, Charles, came over for a sleepover.  Really he came last night and stayed a little today.  Speaking of staying, last night I stayed up late talking with Charles.  Charles is a hippy like me, and I am guessing that many of the viewers I know are hippies as well. Charles has dark hair which he wears in a pony tail and a nice hat, a little like a cap.

So today, I was kinda bored, wondering what to do, when Charles got out of his truck that he was sleeping in, came to the door, and walked in.  There was a lot of talking, and a little bit of eating breakfast - leftover quesadillas which were splendid.  They weren't really left over; they were made with left overs inside - a very messy but tasty quesadilla.

Then after a lot of deciding what to do, me Charles and MotherDear went outside and I started to jump on the trampoline.  Then I asked Charles if he wanted to come on which he did, and we bounced for a bit.  With Charles on the trampoline, I seemed to bounced higher because he's much older - I mean heavier, but I don't want to offend anybody.

So then after that we went inside and after a lot of talking we decided to go on a bike ride.  So we got ready for a bike ride.  I changed into a pair of jeans and a swimshirt (to absorb the sweat); we got our helmets, bikes, pumped up their wheels and set off on an amazing bike ride jour.ney.  We went seven miles or so.  We saw lots of wild life, and we had a good time.  At one point I had an amazing crash; I didn't get hurt too badly fortunately.

When we got home, we had smoothies.  They were very tasty smoothies.  Charles had other things he needed to do, so he said his goodbyes. And we said ours, and he left.

Hours later, we baked blueberry muffins.  They're very tasty muffins.  Then we decided to do my blog, and here I am.  And then we went to bed and mom read me Lord of the Rings, Return of the King.  Then I went to bed and mom did other stuff. - Wait, I haven't gone to bed yet - I've predicted the future!!!??

So that's what I've done in my day.  'Till next time - arrivederci!

Stuff about Leonardo da Vinci

Hello. Today I'm going to blog about Leonardo da Vinci. which means Leonardo of Vinci WHICH IS A CITY IN ITALY!. I'm going to use a numbered list for the facts about him.

  1. Leonardo knew math was essential for paintings, and he used the golden ratio to develop the Canon of Proportions which included the Vitruvian man drawing. The ratio is 1:1.618.
  2. Da Vinci devloped a wide variety of compasses including the ellispograph.
  3. He studied arches and how to keep them from collapsing. He used this knowledge to design buildings for the Duke of Milan.
  4. Leonardo drew polyhedrals which illustrate Luca Paciolis' book The Divine Proportion.
  5. He studied hard on the mathematics of flight and made a drawing of a flying machine.

not sure what to title this

Hello. I woke up today feeling excited about going pecan picking with my friend Mia. Sadly, when we arrived at the park in the late afternoon, we could not pick pecans because it was an off year for pecans.  There weren't any on the ground. So then we went cotton picking instead. The park staff told us we couldn't pick much cotton because there wasn't enough. (I think there was plenty for three people.) They did let us in the barn where we learned interesting facts about the early days of cotton farming.

Then me, Mia and her mom went to Morning Times, a coffee shop that has vegan hot chocolate.  I got some vegan hot chocolate.  After that Mia and her mom left and I stayed with MotherDear who had met me there.  Then after that, we went to the movie my sister and Nonna to see Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2.  It was a good movie, sad but good.

After that we went home, and I started blogging.  I talked about my day - wait that's what I'm doing now?!?!

Well, time for bed, which MotherDear just told me to say.  Buona Notte. Arrivederci. Ciao.

a surpisingly short post on magic tricks

Hello, today I'm going to be talking about magic tricks.   I don't even know when I got interested in magic tricks, maybe a century or two ago.  I like magic tricks because I like to amaze people, make their eyes pop in excitement.  One of my favorite magic tricks is the arm twist; actually, that isn't a trick, I'm just double jointed.  Other than that, I particularly like the following:
  • the levitating wand
  • the levitating card trick #1
  • the levitating card trick #2
  • disappearing coin tricks
I'm hoping to get a super cool magic trick kit for the holidays.  I the meantime, I learn new tricks on YouTube.  Stop on by sometime, I'd love to give you a magic show!

Good night!  So long!  Good-bye!  Chiao! ARRIVEDERCI!

Hello. Today, I'm going to blog about my sleep over with Madison, and my day
at OccupyRaleigh. I woke up in my sleeping bag in Madison's room. A few minutes later, Madison woke up. We went downstairs and played Kirby 64 then Ol' Mom got up.  Later, MotherDear woke up. Guess whose mom is whose; you can leave your answer in the comments.  Anyway, continuing the story, we continued to play Kirby 64 until it was time to leave to go to a class.  At the class, I stood on a stage, speaking with a mike to a large crowd of people.  Well, first I painted a picture.  And that was what I was talking about on the mike.  My painting was a depiction of the Hindu god Ganesh.

After feeling like a rock star, I went home and BEGAN MY HIPPIE TRANSFORMATION.  You see, I was looking for something to play with in the old shed when I found my old didgeridoo.   I played it out in the yard, and when I did I felt very calm, like all of my troubles in life just ... vanished.  So to fit my new feeling, I put on a tye-dye shirt, a peace necklace, and a purple bandana.  Then after a lot of milling about, I went to Occupy with my didgeridoo and my new style.  I entertained the crowds and played music with a friend who had a shaker shaped like an egg and a drum.

All in all, it was a good day. Till next time, good-bye.

an awesome sleep over

Hello, today I'm going to blog about my day and the current circumstances of my blogging. (I did not know how to put that so Madison the Inscrutable helped me.) Today I woke up it was morning, and mother dear was having a sleep over with me, and I told her that I had a good dream it was about vampires. (I got turned into a vampire, and I had a werewolf son) anyway, mother dear told me that I was going to Madison the inscrutable's house for a sleep over! I thought she was half asleep, then she said she wasn't asleep, so I was really happy.  Then we got up, and I had Chinese food for breakfast then we did a lot of driving around, and then we took my sister Sierra to her sleep over then we went back home to get mother dear's phone charger and to put away the groceries that Nonna brought over at the wrong time so then mother dear had to put them away then finely we went to Madison's house, and then we got to Madison's and when we immediately made homemade pizzas and then we played Kirby 64, then WE ATE THE PIZZAS! After that, Madison showed me some saturday night live skits, then a whole lot of talking got us to watch MONTY PYTHON AND THE HOLY GRAIL! After that we bugged the parents while they were drinking wine then Madison made floats after that we started to be CRAZY after being CRAZY the moms made us put our pajamas on after that we did our blogs then we went to bed till next time goodbye!

a surprisingly short post...

Hello, yesterday, I had a fabulous surprise and spent the night with my friend.  Oh, and I ate Lilly's Pizza (actually, a vegan Stromboli).  It was tasty and my evening was fun.  The next day, I woke up with my friend, and we played being careful not to wake my mom on the couch.  Then after a while, she woke up.  Eventually, we went home.  It was a pretty good day - two pretty good days actually.

Until next time... good-bye and goodnight!
